BENGALURU. Lockheed Martin today announced that it will host the 9th edition of its annual India Suppliers’ Conference on November 2-3, 2022 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Bengaluru. The conference will bring together senior Lockheed Martin leaders from across business areas and the supply chain, industrial development, and business development teams. The event will also have participation from the company’s global Tier-1 suppliers. Key representatives from the State Governments will attend the event along with Indian and global industry leaders.
The conference will provide a platform to drive conversations around building defence industrial capabilities that will drive ‘Make-in-India’ partnerships into the future, accelerate defence exports and expand Indo – U.S. defence industrial strategic links.

The key highlights of the conference will include:
- Inaugural seminar which will be attended by Shri Basavaraj Somappa Bommai, Chief Minister of Karnataka
- Presentations by Lockheed Martin business area representatives, partners, and Tier-1 suppliers
- Business-to-Business meetings with Lockheed Martin Supply Chain and Business Development team members
The eighth edition of the Suppliers Conference, held in 2021, saw 135 companies of all sizes ― large, MSMEs and start-ups ― participating in the conference and receiving the opportunity to showcase their companies to key stakeholders from the government and industry. More than 250 delegates participated in person while more than 200 delegates participated virtually through Society of Indian Defense Manufacturers CII Hive platform. The two-day event also saw more than 110 business-to-business meetings being organized.
