QNu Labs Wins the National Award for Technology Start-ups

New Delhi : As India’s first and the only Quantum Cryptography company, QuNu Labs Pvt. Ltd. (QNu Labs) won the elite National Award for Technology Start-ups, for their contribution in commercializing the home grown technology through their Quantum Cybersecurity Products.

The prestigious award was presented by the Minister of State – Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh, on the occasion of National Technology Day at a function at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi. QNu Labs’ pioneering work has placed India on the prestigious quantum innovation map of the world.
QNu as a leader in quantum-safe cryptography products and solutions, offers Quantum Security solutions to deliver maximum data security with its patented technology. Positioning itself among the few companies in the world, QNu Labs has successfully explored the quantum cryptography sphere and introduced a range of products in the market.

Gauging the critical requirement of having highly resilient quantum cyber security, the Technology Development Board of India has endorsed and even allocated funds to boost the production and commercialization of QKD/QC products under the Department of Science and Technology.

The National Award for Technology Start-ups is given to a technology start-up for promising new technology with potential for commercialization. India’s Quantum mission ‘NM-QTA,’ was set up with the purpose to build technology, and products in different areas, including Quantum secure communication and cryptography, with the aim to be an Atmanirbhar nation.

The national award win is yet another milestone to establish the journey QNu Labs embarked on, to demonstrate its credentials in the arena of quantum cryptography products and solutions. It has a full-fledged house lab and manufacturing facilities with a highly qualified and experienced team of people, with diverse skills in Quantum Physics, Quantum Security, Cybersecurity, Optoelectronics, Laser Technology and high precision electronics.

With QNu Labs, India has officially launched its first ready-to-deploy range of Quantum Cryptography products – Quantum Key Distribution System and Quantum Random Number Generator that are completely designed, engineered and manufactured in Bengaluru,” said Dilip Singh, Chief Product Officer, QNu Labs.
