India Successfully Test Fires K-4 Submarine Launched Missile for Second Time in Five Days

 

New Delhi: In a major step forward in the field of maritime defence, India achieved a major milestone in a week’s time on January 24 when it successfully test-fired K-4 submarine-launched ballistic missile off the coast of Visakhapatnam.

The missile, developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), with its range of 3,500 km can bring almost all parts of Pakistan and several areas of China within its reach, officials said.

The missile is set to be integrated with India’s Arihant class nuclear submarine.
