As per the reports, under the contract 200 Kalyani M4 vehicles will be produced and supplied to Indian Army under emergency procurement protocols.

It may be noted here that the private sector defence major has been participating in the ongoing Abu Dhabi-based International Defence Exhibition & Conference 2021 (IDEX 2021), and on February 22 it announced to partner Paramount Group to manufacture armoured vehicles in the country.

The Kalyani M4 is a multi-role platform, designed to meet the specific requirements of armed forces for quick mobility in rough terrain and areas affected by mine and IED threats.

Once the order is implemented, ‘Kalyani M4’ will be in the service with the Indian armed forces. Notably, Kalyani M4 successfully has completed a series of extreme vehicle trials in some of the toughest environments recently.
