International Police Expo 2026: Redefining the Future of Law Enforcement

From AI-powered predictive policing to autonomous anti-drone interceptors, the 11th International Police Expo at New Delhi's Bharat Mandapam is bringing the future of law enforcement into sharp, operational focus

New Delhi: New Delhi became the nerve centre of global security innovation this week as the 11th edition of the International Police Expo opened its doors at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, from June 24-25, 2026. The event brought together security agencies, policymakers, technology providers and industry stakeholders from more than 25 countries, showcasing advances in artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous systems, future drone technologies, cyber security and indigenous defence solutions.

The expo, organised by Nexgen Exhibitions Private Limited, was held alongside the 10th India Homeland Security Expo and the 7th Drone International Expo, with more than 10,000 defence personnel, technology developers, senior police officers from states and union territories, and international police experts participating in the show.

A Truly Global Gathering

The international footprint of the 2026 edition is its most distinguishing feature yet. With participation from over 300 companies and delegations from more than 25 countries, the expo presented an unmatched platform for live demonstrations, strategic dialogue and global partnerships, where India’s indigenous innovation met the world’s most urgent security needs. The expo’s global character extended beyond exhibitors to the foreign law enforcement community itself.

The International Police Expo is the only exhibition focused on creating an interactive platform where police representatives of different nations and policing security equipment and technology suppliers can meet to explore business opportunities related to internal security, training, protection and rescue, gathering to exchange not just knowledge and world views, but also new technologies, solutions and future business partnerships.

Among the prominent international companies lending the event its cross-border character were Sweden-based MSAB, a globally trusted name in mobile device forensics, and Detego Global, which is co-exhibiting with MH Service and whose Unified Digital Forensics Platform is trusted by law enforcement, military, intelligence and investigative organisations across more than 70 countries, supporting more than one million investigations worldwide.

In 2025, the expos drew over 300 companies from 20 countries and welcomed more than 10,000 visitors, and the 2026 edition is expected to surpass these records.

Indigenous Firepower at the Fore

The expo’s most striking domestic showcase was the depth and breadth of India’s homegrown security technology on display. ECIL, a premier Government of India enterprise functioning directly under the Prime Minister’s Office, showcased its indigenous RF jamming solutions – including vehicle-mounted, convoy, and cell phone jammers – designed to disrupt HF, VHF, UHF, cellular (2G–5G), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and drone frequency bands, and already widely deployed by state police, paramilitary and defence forces.

Innefu Labs showcased its Air-Gapped Sovereign Agentic AI in a Box for police and defence, an advanced Defence Intelligence Fusion Centre, AI-powered predictive policing, digital forensics and incident response platforms, offline on-premises large language models, and a comprehensive OSINT suite, all designed to empower security agencies with real-time intelligence and autonomous decision-making.

Vehicle Factory Jabalpur showcased its Light Armoured Multi-Purpose Vehicle, engineered for troop transport, reconnaissance, and urban warfare, offering modular ballistic and blast protection with high mobility and customisation potential.

Counter-Drone and Autonomous Defence Systems

The growing threat of hostile drones drew particular attention on the expo floor. Indrajaal reinforced India’s leadership in counter-drone defence with its autonomous, AI-powered anti-drone suite, including the Indrajaal Ranger patrol vehicle, Zombee autonomous interceptor, and SkyOS™ C5ISRT real-time decision platform, designed to safeguard critical assets across diverse terrains.

SSS Defence presented the Varaha CUAS system, a fully integrated, hard-kill platform for drone detection and neutralisation using sensor fusion and acoustic technology, alongside a range of small arms for security forces. Auric AI unveiled its IMINT Vision Intelligence System for high-value target detection and tracking, as well as a Multi-INT Search and Reasoning Platform for fusing and analysing diverse streams of intelligence at machine speed.

The digital forensics field saw MSAB demonstrate its globally trusted mobile device examination and analysis solutions, while mh Service introduced the Paladin mobile forensic laboratory, built for robust, high-speed investigations in even the most challenging environments. Detego Global co-exhibited to showcase its Unified Digital Forensics Platform, enabling investigators to rapidly identify, acquire, analyse and act on critical evidence from computers, mobiles, drones and cloud applications.

A Backdrop of Record Defence Exports

The expo arrived at a moment of strong momentum for India’s defence sector. India’s defence exports reached Rs 38,424 crore in FY 2025-26, rising 62.66 per cent from Rs 23,622 crore in FY 2024-25, according to Ministry of Defence data. The growth reflects rising global demand for India’s indigenous defence technologies and supports the country’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat ambitions.

As the organisers put it, the expo is where “India’s indigenous innovation meets the world’s most urgent security needs.” After 11 editions, the International Police Expo has evolved well beyond a procurement fair into a strategic forum where national security doctrine, global technology transfer and international policing partnerships converge – and where India is increasingly the one setting the agenda.
