Rosh-HaAyin / Tel Aviv, Israel: A day after the Israeli Defence Forces Chief of Staff, Lt Gen Eyal Zamir announced that there is a plan to launch a new branch dedicated to “unmanned systems and artificial intelligence”, Israeli company Elbit Systems unveiled its AI-driven autonomous combat systems and One2Many operational capabilities, enabling centralised real-time coordination of large numbers of autonomous aerial and ground systems – to be delivered by FUSE.
FUSE, operating as an integral part of Elbit Systems C4I & Cyber, specialises in design, development and delivery of world-leading AI-driven autonomous combat systems solutions, providing mission-critical unmanned capabilities at scale.
Built on years of operational experience, proven technologies and advanced autonomy developed within Elbit Systems, FUSE delivers mature military-grade autonomous systems designed for scalable coordinated operations across land and air domains.
At the core of the portfolio is Dominion-X, an AI-powered unified operating system enabling One2Many operations in GNSS-denied environments, supported by advanced automatic target recognition (ATR) and homing capabilities. Dominion-X enables centralised real-time coordination and management of autonomous aerial and ground systems, including real-time mission data exchange between platforms and distributed operations across battlefield environments through a shared mission network.
Designed for contested and GPS-denied environments, FUSE’s solutions support resilient mission execution, distributed autonomous operations and manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) alongside manoeuvring forces and crewed platforms within existing military formations and command structures.

By integrating autonomous systems directly into frontline formations, FUSE helps military forces to increase operational tempo, expand combat mass, accelerate sensor-to-shooter cycles and improve force survivability while reducing risk to personnel.
“Military forces are entering a new operational era in which combat effectiveness will increasingly depend not only on autonomous platforms themselves, but on the ability to integrate and coordinate large numbers of autonomous systems within existing manoeuvre forces in real time,” said Eyal Dahan, CEO of FUSE.

Dahan revealed that the role of AI in the new system in more than 70% but there is still a man in the loop until this decision is changed.
