BEML Marks World Environment Day

 

Bangalore. BEML Limited, a Public Sector Company under Ministry of Defence, observed World Environment Day at its Units and all its complexes on June 5, for encouraging awareness and action to protect our environment.

Deepak Kumar Hota, CMD, BEML, planted a sapling at its headquarter in the presence of Directors- Suraj Prakash (Finance), MV Rajasekhar (Mining & Construction), R Panneer Selvam (HR), AK Srivastav (Defence), Vidya Bhushan Kumar, IFS (Chief Vigilance Officer) and representatives of employees, officer’s association.

Saplings were distributed to employees and officers at its units, to promote greenery and to raise awareness on conserving the planet.

This year theme is ‘Biodiversity’, with a focus on its role in providing the essential infrastructure that supports life on earth and human development.
