AeroDef 2025: Uniting Aerospace and Defence Manufacturers for Growth and Sustainability

AeroDef Expo’s fifth edition will be held from May 1- 3, 2025 at Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi. Building upon the resounding success of its previous four editions held in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and New Delhi, AeroDef India 2025 promises to be a pivotal event for the Indian aerospace and defence manufacturing sector

Date:

indian aerospace and defence sector is on the cusp of remarkable growth, propelled by a strategic focus on indigenous manufacturing. This transformation is opening-up significant opportunities for private sector firms and MSMEs, particularly in the supply of raw materials, components, assemblies, and subassemblies. The objective is clear: to fortify the local supply chain and minimise dependency on imports, thereby advancing the nation’s vision of self-reliance in defence production.

The Union Defence Budget for 2024-25 stands at ₹621,941 crore (approximately USD 74.3 billion), reflecting a 4.78% increase over the previous year. This substantial allocation underscores India’s commitment to modernising its armed forces while championing domestic defence production under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
