Tamil Nadu-Based Aerospace and Defence Company M/s Aerospace Engineers Receives Creative Partnership Award

Bengaluru. Tamil-Nadu’s Salem-based aerospace and defence company M/s Aerospace Engineers has been awarded ‘Creative Partnership Award’ for excellent contribution towards supporting the TAPAS UAV Programme through indigenisation of flexible (Rubber) fuel tank.

The award was given away at the hands of Director, Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence (MoD) during 62nd Foundation Day of the DRDO laboratory.

Aerospace Engineers was established in the year 2000 to specifically cater to the growing needs of Aviation, Space, Missiles and Civil Aircraft requirements.

The first variety of parts manufactured by Aerospace Engineers was Flameproof Seals, Gaskets, Bellows, Hoses, etc. Aerospace Engineers then entered in manufacturing steel braided and un-braided hose assemblies for Hydraulic Fuel Hot Air lines with suitable end fittings. Aerospace Engineers have developed more than about 300 such assemblies for Aircrafts, Helicopters and Satellites.

Following these were the development and manufacturing of Lubrication Oil Pumps, Various Valves.

With this experience, Aerospace Engineers started manufacturing composite components for Missiles and entered into the manufacturing for civil aircrafts in 2008 and has been serving the civil aviation industry since then.

Aerospace Engineers are very proud in saying that we have manufactured more than 20000 different parts and are always open to new challenging opportunities.

Aerospace Engineers specialises in various areas such as in the Precision machining and manufacturing of Rubber Components, Composites, Electro Mechanical LRU’s, Missiles sub-assemblies, etc to list a few.

The surface Treatment facilities available in house at Aerospace Engineers are approved by DRDO, ISRO and are working towards to get the Nadcap certification.

With the increase in the requirement for more manufacturing, Aerospace Engineers are expanding their Capability at SIPCOT, Hosur and are in initial plan phase to create an additional facility in Hyderabad.

The combined motto of both companies is to be 100 per cent self-reliant in the Aviation Sector.
