GRSE Pays Interim Dividend of Rs 44.10 Crores for FY 2020-21

Hands Over Dividend Cheque to Ministry of Defence, Government of India

 

New Delhi. Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), a Mini Ratna Defence PSU Shipyard has paid an interim dividend of Rs 44.10 Crores for FY 2020-21 to its shareholders.

The Interim Dividend Cheque amounting to Rs 32,85,63,774/- as the government’s share was handed over to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, by Rear Admiral VK Saxena, IN (Retd.) Chairman & Managing Director of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd, Kolkata, in New on March 30 in the presence of Raj Kumar Secretary (Defence Production).

Notwithstanding the impact of COVID 19 pandemic, GRSE has declared an interim dividend of Rs 3.85 per equity share of Rs 10 for FY 20-21. GRSE has been consistent in paying dividend to the Shareholders and has done so every year for the last 27 years.

Since its inception in 1960, GRSE has the distinction of being the only Defence Shipyard to have delivered more than 100 warships (107 warships as on date). The shipyard has an order book position which stands at Rs 25,887 crores as on December 31, 2020.
