Navantia Launches Fourth Corvette for the Saudi Navy

 

Navantia shipyard in San Fernando (Cadiz) will host on Saturday, July 24, the launching ceremony of construction 549, the JAZAN corvette for the Royal Navy of Saudi Arabia. The president of Navantia, Ricardo Domínguez García-Baquero, and the Commander of the Saudi Navy, Vice Admiral Fahad Bin Abdullah Al-Ghofaily, will preside over the event. JAZAN corvette is the fourth of the series of five included in the Avante 2200 program.

The event will take place on Saturday 24, at 3:30 p.m. Due to the health situation, the event will be held with limited capacity and security measures. The event will be broadcast by streaming through this link:
