The new UAV is equipped with a 50 kilogram warhead. The specifics were disclosed in an interview with the semi-official Tasnim news agency on Sunday, April 9 by the organisation’s leader, Ali Kouhestani.

Kouhestani claims that the Meraj-532 UAV can fly for three straight hours at a maximum altitude of 12,000 feet and has a phenomenal range of 450 kilometres. The Iranian official claimed that the Meraj-532 simplicity of assembly and flight preparation is one of its primary strengths, making it ideal for quick response missions.

According to Kouhestani, the UAV can be quickly put together and prepared for flight, enabling prompt deployment in urgent situations.
