BEL, Metamind and Kristellar Sign MoU for Developing Futuristic Technologies 

Bengaluru: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Metamind Systems Private Limited and Kristellar Aerospace Private Limited on May 04, 2026 signed a tripartite MoU in Bengaluru for co-operation and co-development of future-ready products and technologies in the areas of Cyber Security, Electronic Warfare and Avionics, Semiconductors, Data Centre, etc, for both Defence and Non-Defence segments. 

Metamind is an Indian technology firm specialising in AI-driven Data Analytics and Digital Transformation solutions for sectors like Aerospace, Defence, Healthcare, Information Technology (IT) and IT Enabled Services (ITES).

Kristellar is a next-generation Indian Aerospace and Defence technology startup engaged in the design, development and manufacture of mission-critical products/systems/solutions in Aerospace and Defence technologies, in the areas of Cyber Security, Electronic Warfare & Avionics (EW&A), Semiconductor, Data Centre, etc. Kristellar’s business portfolio encompasses CubeSat Systems and Mission Delivery, Aerospace Propulsion, Radar, RF, EW & Secure Communications, AI and Cognitive Defence Systems.

The Tripartite MoU aims to leverage their complementary strengths in business facilitation and technological innovation. By combining BEL’s manufacturing capabilities and marketing outreach, Metamind’s expertise in strategic government relations, project governance and operational management, and Kristellar’s advanced R&D capabilities and systems engineering, the collaboration will enhance competitiveness, mitigate execution risks and ensure the delivery of scalable, future-ready solutions, thereby maximising the long-term value and success of projects undertaken.

With the objective of strengthening indigenous capabilities and supporting the Government of India’s Make in India initiative, the companies aim to co-operate in the areas of advanced technology development, manufacturing and supply of Aerospace and Defence systems, electronic modules and sub-systems in the areas of Cyber Security, EW&A, mass manufacturing of Semiconductor technologies, Data Centre and other products/systems/solutions for the Indian Defence and Non-Defence segments promoting Mission Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and for enhancing the export potential of “Make In India” products and integrated systems.

The MoU was exchanged between Manoj Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, BEL, Hrishikesh Kinikar, CMD, Metamind, and Udaya Banu Das, Director and CEO, Kristellar, in the presence of Rajnish Sharma, Director (Bengaluru Complex), BEL, Hemavathy Muthuswamy, GM (Network & Cyber Security), BEL, Ruchi Pant, GM (Strategic Planning & Technology Planning), BEL, Rakesh Kumar, GM (Software), BEL, Brig Dr Laxmi Charan Patnaik (Kristellar), Rajeev Ranjan Sarkari (Kristellar), and S Jena (Kristellar).
