BEL and Reshef Technologies, Israel, Sign MoA for Execution of Long Term Make in India Contract for Electronic Fuzes

Bengaluru: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) and Reshef Technologies, Israel, have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to execute a Long Term Make in India (LTMII) contract, aimed at the indigenous manufacture of Electronic Fuzes. 
The objective of the agreement, announced at Aero India 2025, is to execute a 10-year LTMII contract for production of Electronic Fuzes in the country, thereby addressing the mandated indigenisation requirements of the Indian Army. The MoA will enable BEL to achieve 100 per cent indigenisation in the manufacture of Electronic Fuzes.
BEL, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, enjoys leadership position in the Defence / Strategic Electronics market in India.
BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-Unit conglomerate which boasts of over 600 products in the areas of Radars & Fire Control systems, Weapon systems, Communication & Network Centric systems, Naval Systems, Electronic Warfare & Avionics, Electro Optics, Anti-submarine Warfare systems, Tank Electronics & Gun Upgrades, Homeland Security, civilian products and Strategic Components.

Reshef Technologies is the main supplier of Electronic Fuzes to the Israeli Defence Forces. The company has rich experience of over three decades in the design, development and production of Electronic Fuzes for a variety of ammunition of Artillery, Mortar, Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs), rockets and loitering munitions.
