Tel Aviv: Israeli defence tech company Bagira announced that it has signed an agreement to supply Point-of-Need training systems to a new appointed state distributor in Asia. The contract is valued at approximately €2.1 million.
Under its terms, Bagira will supply proprietary training systems alongside accompanying services, including a one-year warranty. Delivery of the systems is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
Bagira’s simulators are being used by hundreds of thousands of soldiers at more than 40 sites worldwide. Bagira’s training applications and systems share a common infrastructure – the B-One simulation engine.
According to the company, it provides complete and customised solutions. The company’s specialists, drawn from fields with significant operational experience, analyse the needs of each client and design and deliver a solution tailored to the specific requirements of each project. Upon project completion, Bagira provides a technical and maintenance network that enables routine operation of the systems without impairing the customer’s activities. The technical and logistical aspects are supported by qualified field technicians and include Help Desk support and spare parts storage.
Bagira estimates that this the new contract represents a significant step forward for the company in the Asian market. The move reflects the realisation of the company’s vision to expand its global footprint and strengthen its position as a leading player in new markets with growth potential.
This development, alongside the client’s ongoing procurement and modernisation processes, creates potential for the company to deepen its activities (Land and Expand) over time, ultimately diversifying its international client base.
