Alpha Unmanned Systems Boosts its European Presence with a Strategic Agreement with HAVELSAN

Madrid. Alpha Unmanned Systems and HAVELSAN have entered into a strategic partnership to introduce and support HAVELSAN’s unmanned aerial platforms in Spain, responding to the evolving operational needs of national security and government agencies.

This strategic collaboration combines Alpha Unmanned Systems’ experience in the Spanish UAV market with HAVELSAN’s advanced platforms to enhance the range and performance of unmanned solutions available in the country. Under the framework, Alpha Unmanned Systems will serve as HAVELSAN’s distribution and support partner for these platforms in the Spanish market, ensuring tailored solutions and long-term service for national security and government customers.

The two companies will cooperate to identify and pursue opportunities involving UAV platforms, autonomy, mission planning, command-and-control, simulation and training, and lifecycle support services. The collaboration is designed to enable customers to deploy interoperable, multi-platform UAV capabilities supported by local expertise and global systems integration experience

Positioning Alpha as a European UAV Centre of Excellence

In response to requirements from Spanish security forces, Alpha Unmanned Systems will act as a key integration, support, and customer-facing partner in Spain and Europe, providing local expertise, training, maintenance, and operational support for HAVELSAN UAV platforms and technologies. HAVELSAN may likewise offer Alpha’s fuel-powered tactical helicopter UAVs to its international customer base, enabling complementary mission capabilities across regions.

Alpha Unmanned Systems brings more than a decade of experience developing and operating small tactical helicopter UAVs for maritime surveillance, border security, persistent ISR, manned-unmanned teaming, and defence training applications. Its platforms are designed for demanding operational environments where endurance, reliability, and interoperability are critical.

Through the collaboration, the parties intend to explore joint technical integration activities, customer demonstrations, and coordinated marketing and bidding efforts in agreed markets and regions.
