New Delhi:Â Founded in 1976, with locations in the US states of Maryland, South Carolina and Georgia, Skytech Inc. specialises in aircraft sales and services. Pilatus acquired the company together with all employees in 2022. Upon completion of its rebranding on January 1, 2026, Skytech Inc. will be fully integrated into the Pilatus Group under the newly established company, Pilatus Aircraft USA, headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado.
The change of Skytech’s name underlines the company’s adherence to the Pilatus Group and reaffirms the Pilatus commitment to quality, customer proximity and the local workforce. Under the globally recognised Pilatus brand, customers may be confident that the proven Skytech team will continue to deliver the same high standard of service, technical expertise and personal support.
Strengthening the Global Brand
The new name makes it clear that Skytech belongs to the Pilatus Group. That in turn provides orientation for customers and business partners, and unambiguously positions the company as part of the global Pilatus network. Pilatus is pursuing its goal of cultivating a uniform brand worldwide. The rebranding also underlines Pilatus’ long-term stability and commitment to the US market. Customers can look forward to benefitting even more directly from the strength, expertise and resources of the Pilatus parent company.
Strong Roots in the USA
With the acquisition of Skytech, Pilatus has further expanded its direct involvement in the all-important US market. Pilatus has operated a subsidiary in Colorado for 29 years, where final assembly work is performed on both the PC-12 and PC-24. With the full integration of Skytech, further investments in expanding this site and in new jobs are planned for the future. Pilatus has identified considerable potential for growth in the coming years and will continue to contribute to economic development on the East Coast of the USA.
Pilatus is also planning another site in Florida, which will focus on assembly work for PC-12 destined for the North and South American markets.
From 2026, Pilatus Aircraft USA will comprise its headquarters in Broomfield, CO (KBJC), along with additional locations in Westminster, MD (KDMW), Rock Hill, SC (KUZA), and Atlanta, GA (KPDK). A growing team of approximately 400 talented employees across the country drives Pilatus’ continued success.
