VIPER I is designed for versatile deployment directly on military vehicles, facilitating efficient interception in dynamic battlefield scenarios. It can be launched from the Spear’s Multi Canister Launcher (MCL) without modifications, ensuring seamless integration across various tactical platforms, including dismounted troops and fixed installations. This capability enables continuous aerial protection for manoeuvring forces.

Engineered with a low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) footprint, the VIPER I enhances deployment efficiency. It incorporates third-party payloads for precise detection, verification, and neutralisation of Top-Attack threats. Featuring automated high-speed manoeuvring and advanced AI-driven target tracking, the VIPER I intercepts fast-moving targets while autonomously determining the optimal responses based on real-time battlefield intelligence.

Viper I has been designed for integration with third party’s sensors and warheads, ensuring versatile application across various operational scenarios and utilisation of local know-how.

As per the company, the MCL complements the VIPER I’s functionality by enabling rapid deployment of multiple VIPER family systems from any military platform, even while in motion. This launcher features a customisable configuration that addresses SWaP challenges across various tactical platforms, varying from one to multiple canisters. Viper family integrates with Force Battle Management Systems (C4i), providing tactical units with improved Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities providing greater lethality and survivability. The MCL’s design enhances the maneuverability and operational pace of forces while minimising operator exposure and safeguarding crew members within the vehicle.
