Our current order portfolio with countries on the continent accounts for approximately 30% of the Company’s total value of signed contracts. Russia is helping African countries strengthen their defence capabilities and effectively counter all modern security threats and challenges; in turn, these partners view Russia as a guarantor of their security. In addition to supplying modern weaponry, we are actively developing military-technological cooperation projects that contribute to the growth and modernisation of the national industries of African countries,” stated Alexander Mikheev, Director General of ROSOBORONEXPORT.

At the Russia-Africa Summit in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) segment ROSOBORONEXPORT will present to its African partners the KUB-2E loitering munition system and the Skat 350M reconnaissance UAV, both developed by the Kalashnikov Group.
