Redington Partners with Garuda Aerospace to Accelerate Enterprise Adoption of Indigenous Drone Solutions

Chennai: Redington Limited, a leading technology solutions provider, announced a strategic partnership with Garuda Aerospace to enable large-scale, enterprise-ready deployment of indigenous drone solutions across India. The collaboration strengthens Redington’s emerging technology portfolio while supporting the structured commercialisation of drone-led solutions across agriculture, defence, and allied institutional segments.

Under the partnership, Redington will drive the national go-to-market, enterprise sales, channel enablement, and service support for Garuda Aerospace’s drone solutions. The engagement will initially focus on agricultural drones and services such as crop health monitoring, disease and pest inspection, and precision spraying, while also covering Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) offerings, select defense and institutional applications, and Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO) programmes. The partnership is solution-led, designed to address specific customer use cases rather than standalone product distribution.

By combining Garuda Aerospace’s indigenous drone manufacturing and application expertise with Redington’s nationwide enterprise reach and channel ecosystem, the alliance aims to address key customer challenges, including fragmented deployments, limited after-sales support, and difficulty in scaling operations across regions. A core pillar of the collaboration is the strengthening of after-sales and service infrastructure, ensuring the availability of spare parts, trained technicians, faster turnaround times, and higher fleet uptime.

“Our partnership with Garuda Aerospace unlocks indigenous, mission-ready drone solutions and aligns with ambitious “Made in India” vision. By combining indigenous drone innovation with Redington’s market reach and ecosystem strengths, we aim to unlocking next in innovative capabilities that enhance national security, enable precision agriculture, power intelligent surveillance, and accelerate smarter, more resilient cities and enterprises across India. By combining our nationwide reach with Garuda’s drone innovation and application expertise, we aim to accelerate adoption, improve customer outcomes, and build a robust ecosystem for long-term growth,” said Hetal Shah, Vice President & Group Head, Technology Solutions Group, Redington Limited.

The partnership will initially focus on scaling existing, proven solutions while both companies evaluate new offerings aligned with market demand and regulatory readiness. With India’s drone ecosystem moving toward enterprise and institutional adoption, the collaboration is positioned to enable reliable, governed, and scalable deployments nationwide, with a roadmap to explore select global markets in the future.

This partnership with Redington marks a pivotal step in scaling indigenous drone solutions from successful pilots to nationwide, enterprise-grade deployments. At Garuda Aerospace, our focus has always been on building mission-ready, Made-in-India drone technologies that can operate reliably at scale. With Redington’s deep enterprise reach, service infrastructure, and channel ecosystem, we are well positioned to accelerate adoption across agriculture, defence, and institutional use cases, while ensuring strong after-sales support, governance, and long-term sustainability,” said Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace.
