Nepal Delegation led by Shailendra Khanal visits CISF HQrs and Discussed on Various Aspects of Training & Security

New Delhi. A delegation of Armed Police Force (APF) Officers of Nepal led by Shailendra Khanal, Inspector General, APF (Nepal) along-with 07 members visited CISF HQrs, on August 7, New Delhi. On arrival, the delegation was given a warm welcome and a Guard of Honour was also presented to the IG, APF (Nepal).

A meeting of senior officers of CISF led by Rajesh Ranjan, DG, CISF and Nepal delegation was held at the Conference Hall of CISF HQrs, New Delhi. The meeting was attended by A K Pateria, ADG (HQrs), IsG & DsIG of CISF HQrs, Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) & Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) officials of Nepal.

During meeting, an understanding with respect to mutual co-operation on use of technology, indigenous experience, best practices used by each other, incident response & management system, inter agency co-ordination, training & skills upgradation, terrorism, public dealing & abroad deployment were discussed. A presentation on CISF showcasing its diverse & multifaceted role in various sectors was also shown.

The delegation expressed their gratitude for sharing of useful information and appreciated the role being played by CISF in guarding the critical and sensitive infrastructures of the country.
