Marrakech, Morocco: Marking Israel’s first official participation in the defence exhibition held in Morocco since the signing of the Abraham Accords, the Israel Ministry of Defence (IMOD) – International Defence Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT) has opened an Israeli national pavilion and headed a delegation of Israeli defence industries at the show.
Eight Israeli defence companies exhibited advanced, combat-proven technologies at the show, including loitering munitions, AI-powered robotic systems, autonomous navigation capabilities for UAVs, laser guidance for FPV drones, satellite communications, and more.
Alongside the IMOD pavilion, Israel’s three major defence industries, Elbit Systems, IAI, and Rafael, also exhibited, presenting solutions across the air, land, sea, space, intelligence, cyber, and digital domains.
The opening of the Israeli national pavilion at the Marrakech Airshow is part of the IMOD’s strategy to increase defence exports and defence cooperation with countries worldwide. This strategy serves as a tool to strengthen the IDF’s force buildup, influence foreign policy, and bolster the Israeli defence industry and economy. During the exhibition, meetings were held with delegations and government officials from various countries.

Head of SIBAT, Brig Gen (Res.) Yair Kulas, stated, “Israel’s first-ever participation in an exhibition in Morocco marks an important milestone for the Israel Ministry of Defence and the Israeli defence industry. The companies that exhibited at the show brought combat-proven technologies alongside innovation in autonomy, artificial intelligence, and communications. SIBAT serves as a gateway to Israel’s defence ecosystem, and this exhibition served as a platform for expanding international defence cooperation and building long-term partnerships as part of advancing the Ministry of Defence’s strategy.
