FleetRF to Supply Indigenous Anti-Jamming Drone Communication System, Wins Indian Army Contract

New Delhi: Achieving a Make-in-India milestone with a fully indigenous, AI-enabled, anti-jamming communication system for Indian Army drones, Delhi-based start-up FleetRF has won a prestigious Indian Army tender to supply a fully indigenous anti-jamming drone communication system.

Designed to ensure uninterrupted connectivity in hostile Electronic Warfare (EW) environments, the system represents a major leap in India’s self-reliant defence technology drive. It also marks a landmark achievement for India’s private defence technology ecosystem.

FleetRF’s communication suite, developed over six years of intensive R&D has been entirely conceptualised, engineered, and built in India — from hardware architecture to embedded software along with  complete intellectual property (IP) rights. The system features a tri-layer security framework comprising advanced encryption protocols, dynamic frequency hopping, and adaptive power control. Together, these layers enable drones to maintain robust data links and command reliability, even under intense signal-jamming or spoofing attempts. By automatically adjusting frequencies and power levels in real time, the system ensures mission continuity in high-threat environments.

Its AI-driven spectrum intelligence module is a standout feature of FleetRF’s innovation. Using machine learning-based spectrum analysis, the system can predict and counter jamming attempts before they disrupt operations. This proactive adaptability allows drones to maintain bandwidth integrity and control stability — a crucial advantage in modern electronic warfare scenarios.

The induction of the system by Indian Army is expected to dramatically improve the resilience and reliability of its drone operations, particularly across border and high-conflict zones. FleetRF’s modular communication system can be seamlessly integrated into a wide range of UAVs, from compact tactical drones to large surveillance and logistics platforms.

Cementing its position among a select group of nations capable of producing self-reliant, electronic warfare-hardened drone communication systems, FleetRF’s breakthrough enhances India’s tactical superiority in the unmanned warfare domain. This achievement reflects the growing technological maturity of India’s defence start-up ecosystem, with indigenous innovators now contributing cutting-edge solutions in secure communications, AI-based control, and EW-resilient systems.
