Expanding European Footprint: IMCO Group Establishes Subsidiary in Romania

Tel Aviv: Israeli IMCO Group, a provider of advanced systems for the defence and industrial sectors, announced the establishment of a new subsidiary in Romania.
This move, according the company, marks another significant milestone in the implementation of the Group’s multi-year strategic plan, which focuses on penetrating the European defence market and driving growth by increasing production capacity, in face of the rising defence budgets across the continent.
The establishment of the subsidiary in Romania is intended to expand the Group’s production capacity, both to fulfill its future order backlog and to develop new markets. IMCO anticipates that the new company will contribute to the Group’s operational capabilities during the fourth quarter of 2025, creating the infrastructure required to sustain future growth in Romania and the broader European market.
Establishing a business entity within a European Union member state will open a wide spectrum of new business opportunities, complementing the growth in the Israeli and US markets. This will be achieved through direct sales to new customers as well as by leveraging the facility to fulfill the Group’s growing backlog.
The subsidiary’s European location allows IMCO to operate as a “local supplier” in defence projects across the continent. It also serves as a catalyst for strengthening collaborations with leading platform manufacturers and integrators throughout Europe.
According to Ariel Kandel, CEO  of IMCO, the establishment of new subsidiary in Romania is another step forward in the Group’s strategic plan.
”It strengthens our production capacity to fulfill our future order backlog and expands our global operations. Our presence in Romania will give us a more significant foothold in the European market, enabling us to provide a faster and more flexible response to all our customers,” Kandel added.
According to IMCO, it delivers a full line of military electrical harnesses, control boxes, assemblies, and electromechanical devices for the global defence and aerospace markets.
IMCO Group provides military and commercial products including missiles; ground vehicles; unmanned aerial vehicles; and custom and off-the-shelf systems for the commercial automotive, medical, and industrial markets. Its product line includes tools and equipment for aircraft and helicopter systems, missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, land systems, automotive control and electrical systems, and naval applications.
With manufacturing capabilities on two continents, the company is well positioned to respond quickly to customer requirements. Designed-in flexibility allows rapid product customisation to meet specific customer requirements.
