DEFEA 2025: Officially Inaugurated with Strong International Presence

Athens: Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias inaugurated the International Defence, Security & Technology exhibition DEFEA 2025, in the presence of high-ranking government officials, senior military leadership, and distinguished international delegates.

The opening ceremony brought together top-level representatives from ministries of defence, national security, digital governance, and maritime affairs, highlighting the exhibition’s strategic importance.

The three day event is being held in Athens, Greece from May 6 – 8, 2025.

High-level participation from multiple countries, including ministers and deputy ministers, underlines DEFEA’s global reach. Chiefs of the Hellenic Armed Forces and senior defence leadership also attended and toured the exhibition.

With 436 exhibitors from 37 countries18 national pavilions, and 98 official delegations from 45 nations, DEFEA 2025 affirms its role as a major hub for international defence cooperation and innovation.
