Exxelia Busbars Now Manufactured in an AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 Certified Facility

New Delhi: Exxelia has announced that its SVM production site is now certified to AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015, following a successful audit conducted by DNV Business Assurance USA Inc.

This certification strengthens Exxelia’s capability to manufacture busbars for demanding electronic and power applications in a production environment aligned with aerospace and high-reliability industry standards. All busbars produced at the SVM site can now be identified with the marking “Manufactured in an EN9100 / AS9100 certified factory”, providing customers with clear assurance of controlled processes and quality compliance.

The scope of the certification covers the quality management system of SVM Private Limited, located in the Chennai area, India, and applies to the manufacture and supply of electronic and electromechanical components, including customised busbar solutions designed for high-current, high-reliability applications.

The AS9100D standard is the internationally recognised quality management reference for the aerospace, aviation, and defence sectors, with specific requirements related to risk management, product safety, configuration control, and full traceability.

The ISO 9001:2015 standard defines general quality management principles applicable across industrial markets. The audit was performed in accordance with AS9104/1:2012 under the ICOP (Industry Controlled Other Party) scheme.

With this certification, Exxelia confirms that its SVM production site operates under quality processes commonly required for aerospace, defence, and other regulated electronics programmes.
