UAE. On the 45th UAE Armed Forces Unification Day, we at EDGE salute all those who have contributed to the safety and security of our nation. We honour the steadfast commitment made by the Armed Forces to ensure a strong and safe sovereign state as they risk their lives to protect us all.

And we pay tribute to our founding father late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the leaders of the Emirates that took the wise decision to unify the Armed Forces and establish what is considered today, a distinguished military power in the Arab region.

As we additionally celebrate the UAE’s remarkable journey over the last 50 years, we extend our deepest respect to the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for overseeing the continued modernisation of our country and guiding the Armed Forces in promoting peace and stability at the regional and international levels.
