Members of US Congress Visit Rafael’s Facility in the Galilee, Highlighting US-Israel Defence Cooperation

Haifa, Israel: Rafael was honoured to welcome a bipartisan delegation of members of US Congress to its facility in northern Israel. This visit, facilitated by the American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF), underscores the enduring partnership between the United States and Israel and highlights Rafael’s commitment to advancing shared security goals.

The delegation toured Rafael’s state-of-the-art facility in the Galilee, where they received comprehensive briefings on Rafael’s cutting-edge laser-based defence systems and other defence systems like Iron Dome and David’s Sling. Rafael Chairman Dr Yuval Steinitz led the visit alongside VP Gideon Weiss.

These systems are essential in defending Israel’s home front against the growing threats from Hamas, Hezbollah and other adversaries in the region. The members of Congress were also briefed on the various systems that have been developed to save American lives and safeguard American assets.

Extending its gratitude to its American friends and allies for their steadfast commitment, Rafael thanked the US Congress for its the bipartisan support, as Rafael continues to bolster the development, production, and technological sharing of Rafael’s defence systems.

This visit reinforces our collective commitment to enhancing defence collaboration and technological innovation, said Rafael.
