Philippines Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Visits Israel Aerospace Industries’ Booth at ADAS Exhibition

Manila, Philippines. Philippines Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Romeo Brawner visited Israel Aerospace Industries’ (IAI), a world-class aerospace and defence leader, booth at the Asian Defence & Security (ADAS) exhibition in the Philippines. During his visit, he showed great interest in the company’s air defence systems, radars, and projects related to land and coastal defence. He was hosted by Maxim Zemer, IAI’s senior vice president for Asia and Africa, Shay Gal, Vice President of External Relations, and Yair Katz, General Secretary of National Union IAI Employees.

At the show, IAI showcased a range of groundbreaking systems in air defence, radar, loitering munitions, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and electronic warfare.

Earlier this week, IAI inaugurated a local office in the Philippines, headed by RLM, which will serve as IAI’s official representative in the country. This cooperation aims to strengthen the company’s presence in the country by expanding business collaborations with government agencies, local companies, and academic institutions, serving as a regional hub for the company.

In recent years, IAI has expanded its activities in the Philippines while increasing its investments in the local market. More broadly, Asia is an important market for the company. IAI views its operations in the Philippines as an opportunity to achieve significant milestones that will serve as a growth engine for the country and the region in the long term.
