Pavan Kapoor Appointed Next Indian Ambassador to UAE

 

New Delhi. Senior Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Pavan Kapoor has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a press statement issued from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.

A 1990 batch IFS officer, he replaces Navdeep Singh Puri. Mr Kapoor has served in different capacities in the Indian Missions in London, Kyiv, Moscow and Geneva.

He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
