BEL Signs MoU with VVDN for Joint Development and Manufacturing of Wi-Fi & 5G Based Networking Subsystems

Bengaluru: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Navratna Defence PSU and a leading Indian aerospace and defence company, and VVDN Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (VVDN), a global provider of software, electronics engineering, product manufacturing services and solutions, on June 24 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at collaboration for domestic manufacturing and technology development to strengthen India’s self-reliance in Defence and professional electronics.

BEL and VVDN have signed this MoU to accelerate their efforts towards fostering indigenous design and manufacturing in the new-age technology sector. The key focus areas of this strategic collaboration include Wi-Fi and 5G Based Networking Subsystems for Communication Systems, Software & Networking Solutions, Radar Technologies, Naval Systems for Defence, Railways and other identified areas.

The MoU was exchanged between Manoj Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, BEL, and Vivek Bansal, Co-Founder and President, VVDN.
