As a direct outcome of the engagement, talent from the Northeast can now connect with Skyroot to explore potential career and professional opportunities through NEtalent@skyroot.in. The dedicated channel gives students and young professionals from the region an opportunity to engage directly with a growing private space-tech company and explore potential pathways into the sector.

Skyroot, one of India’s leading private space-tech companies, has built a team of 1,000+ professionals and is developing advanced launch vehicles from Hyderabad. Its work on the Vikram-S and Vikram-I launch vehicles also reflects the growing role of private enterprise in India’s space ecosystem.

The engagement comes at a significant moment for India’s private space sector. Following the successful launch of Vikram-1Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Skyroot team, calling the achievement a “defining moment in India’s space journey” and highlighting the role of private-sector participation in opening new frontiers and accelerating innovation.

At the workshop, Tejaswi Bhagavatula, VP – Brand, Marketing & Communications, Skyroot Aerospace, shared insights from the company’s entrepreneurial journey and the opportunities emerging across the space-tech sector with students, entrepreneurs and young professionals from Tripura.

The Skyroot engagement forms part of a broader effort by the Government of Tripura to strengthen industry and talent connections. The objective is to build an ecosystem where young people from Tripura can access industry networks, develop relevant skills and explore opportunities in sectors shaping India’s next generation of growth.
