Helsinki, Finland. ICEYE, the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space, has successfully launched and deployed four new SAR satellites into orbit. Integrated via Exolaunch, the satellites lifted off on July 7, 2026, aboard the Transporter-17 rideshare mission with SpaceX from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. Each spacecraft has established communication, and routine commissioning operations are underway.
ICEYE has now successfully launched 76 satellites. This launch adds another fourth-generation (Gen4) SAR satellite to ICEYE’s commercial constellation, while also delivering dedicated national missions satellites including those supported by ICEYE US and the Finnish Defence Forces’ third satellite.
Gen4 delivers the world’s highest-fidelity commercial SAR imagery and faster revisit over priority areas, with up to 16 cm resolution, a 400 km high-resolution field of regard, and more images per orbital pass for faster coverage of priority areas of interest.
ICEYE’s production rate is now doubling, from 50 satellites per year today to a target of 100 annually by 2027 and beyond, supported by a matching launch cadence.
ICEYE-built constellations are available as a fully sovereign capability, free from ITAR restrictions. ICEYE delivers the satellites as part of a complete, secure system that can be launched, deployed, and operational within 12 months, including ground segment, comprehensive training, and continuous software updates.
ICEYE recently delivered a fully operational sovereign space system to the Polish Armed Forces, from contract signing to operational capability in 12 months, among the fastest sovereign space deployments in history. The model is now being replicated across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and the pace is accelerating.
Every sovereign system ICEYE deploys strengthens not only the nation that operates it but a broader network of intelligence. Seven governments to date across Europe have procured sovereign satellite systems from ICEYE, making it the leading provider of space-based intelligence.
