EDGE and e& Pioneer Region’s Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) Solution in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, UAE. EDGE, one of the world’s leading advanced technology and defence groups, has signed a contract with global technology group e&, to implement and operate the region’s Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) solution in Abu Dhabi. The agreement was signed by Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, Chief Executive Officer, e& UAE , and Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director & CEO, EDGE in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cyber Security Council, at GITEX GLOBAL 2025.

The pioneering UTM solution will provide real-time monitoring, deconfliction, and traffic coordination across multiple drone operators, enabling safer skies and more efficient use of unmanned systems for activities such as emergency response, environmental monitoring, logistics, and smart city services.
