BEML Marks Significant Presence at DefExpo 2020

 

Lucknow. Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), a Schedule A company under Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is participating in big way by showcasing its products at the indoor and outdoor pavilions during DefExpo 2029.

The biennial mega defence exhibition being held in Lucknow from February 5 to 9.

In line with theme of ‘Digital Transformation’, BEML is unveiling an AI based Mobile Healthcare Diagnosis System to address the medical needs of the armed forces and an ‘Armoured Crew Protected Vehicle’ like Medium Bullet Proof Vehicle (MBPV).

Further, BEML is also exhibiting its Mobile Standby Command Post Vehicle (MSCPV), Bulldozer with Hydrostatic Transmission drive technology (BD50HST) and 20T class heavy transportation vehicles in its outdoor stall.

Apart from this, BEML is manufacturing Truck Mounted Excavators, high capacity engines for DRDO, Autonomous Ground Vehicles (tracked & wheeled), Mounted Gun Systems in association with OFB and indigenously developed Infrared Signature Suppression systems for Indian Navy etc.

BEML’s main focus at DefExpo 2020 is to display it’s capability, promote defence products, interact with probable customers to understand their requirements for supplying of specific products and to explore collaborations with foreign companies. Also BEML will be signing MoUs to enter into JVs with major international players in the defence space.

Moreover, it is also an opportunity to network with MSME and start-ups for maximising localisation / indigenisation.
