QNu Labs Collaborates with Indian Navy for Quantum Encryption Systems, Signs Procurement and Deployment Deal

Bengaluru: Bengaluru-based QNu Labs has signed a procurement deal with the Indian Navy. This collaboration signifies a major milestone, positioning the Indian Navy as the first agency in the country to procure large-scale quantum-based encryption systems.

The Indian Navy is taking proactive measures to enhance its data and communication security with the procurement of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) based Hub & Spoke (H&S) systems. The procurement order for the procurement and deployment of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) based systems was signed by Cmde Rishi Mohan PD(NS)/IHQ on May 16, 2023.
