BEL pays Rs 64.41 Cr Final Dividend to Government

 

NEW DELHI. Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has paid a total dividend of 200 per cent to the Government of India for FY 2017-18.

MV Gowtama, Chairman & Managing Director, BEL, presented the 40 per cent Final Dividend cheque for Rs 64,41,62,053.20 (Rupees Sixty-four crores Forty-one lakhs Sixty-two thousand Fifty-three and Twenty paise only), for the year 2017-18, payable on the shares held by the President and Government nominee, to Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi on November 15.

The Interim Dividend of 160 per cent (on face value of Re 1 per equity share) was paid to the Government of India in February 2018.
