The live demo, attended by 20 global Bushmaster users, showcased the system’s comprehensive suite of capabilities, including the highly efficient single-shot drone kill using Northrop Grumman’s High Explosive Proximity (HEP) ammunition. During the demo, Rafael’s Typhoon 30C RWS hit the target on the first round, showcasing its exceptional capability to neutralise drones at various ranges and its effectiveness in counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) operations.

Rafael also highlighted the Typhoon 30C’s adaptability by demonstrating it in a 20 ft. mission module configuration, paired with a Drone Detection Radar and Electro-optical sensors. This demonstration aligns with Rafael’s commitment to delivering and installing its systems in modular configurations, ensuring flexibility and rapid deployment in diverse operational environments.

Typhoon 30C RWS is a combat-proven system that continues to undergo enhancements to address evolving battlefield challenges and the increasing threat of hostile drone attacks. Designed to protect strategic ground and naval assets, the Typhoon 30C integrates advanced technologies to provide superior defence capabilities.

The system is equipped with advanced electro-optical targeting systems and automatic fire correction solutions for accurate engagement of aerial threats. It is compatible with various platforms, including naval vessels, ground vehicles, and fixed installations, and can be configured for different mission requirements.
