New Delhi: Air India  announced that it has received the Design Organisation Approval (DOA) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), designated as CAR 21 approval. This approval enables Air India to independently manage in-house design changes and modifications to its aircraft interiors, enhancing efficiency and customer experience.

Air India is now the first Indian airline to obtain this level of authorisation, a step that significantly strengthens its capability to implement continuous improvements across its fleet.
