VEM Technologies, HAL Sign MOU at DefExpo for Production and Delivery of Centre Fuselage Assemblies for LCA Tejas Mk1A

Gandhinagar. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and VEM Technologies Pvt Ltd, has signed an MOU at DefExpo-2022 in presence of distinguished dignitaries from Ministry of Defence, Government of India for production and delivery of 20 Units of Centre Fuselage Assemblies (CFL) for Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas Mk1A.

VEM handed over the first ever “Centre Fuselage Assembly for Light Combat Aircraft – Tejas” to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on 26th July 2021 with the outstanding support from HAL – LCA Division.

The dedicated line established by VEM for the productionisation of Centre Fuselage for LCA – Tejas is expected to deliver good volumes to HAL to meet the present and the future orders from Indian Armed Forces which is likely to go up from current confirmed order of 83 Tejas Aircrafts.

In DefExpo-2022, VEM has also received the contract from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited towards Indigenous Design & Development of Infra Red Radiation Suppression System (IRSS) for Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) in presence of distinguished dignitaries from Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

VEM established the state of the art infrastructure including the Hi-precision Machinery, Metallurgical Processes and Treatments and Pneumo-hydraulic systems, Fuel systems, Automated PCBAs, Composites, RF & MW, Electro-Optics and Electrical Integration facilities to build the integrated systems for Land, Air and Naval Systems.
