Tel Aviv: Israeli company Smart Shooter has integrated its combat-proven SMASH 2000L fire control system with the United States Marine Corps‘ Marine Air-Ground Tablet (MAGTAB) family of systems.
Developed in collaboration with Kranze Technology Solutions (KTS), this integration enhances dismounted Marines’ real-time situational awareness by delivering target and friendly force information directly into the SMASH 2000L’s field of view (FOV) — significantly improving battlefield decision-making.
SMASH 2000L is Smart Shooter’s lightest handheld fire control system. Using artificial intelligence, computer vision, and advanced algorithms, it maximises force lethality, operational effectiveness, and situational awareness in every engagement — day or night. Combat-proven, SMASH 2000L ensures precise target elimination against ground threats and aerial targets, making it an ideal hard-kill solution against drones and sUAS.
A unique feature of the SMASH 2000L is its ability to connect to external sensors, providing both operators and Combat Operations Centres with enhanced situational awareness. Operators can instantly visualise targets and friendly forces through their optics, enabling faster engagement and better-informed command decisions.
Designed by Marines for Marines, the MAGTAB family of systems streamlines mission planning, increases operational effectiveness, and modernises Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). Through this integration, critical battlefield information can now be shared seamlessly between the SMASH 2000L and the MAGTAB system, empowering dismounted forces with greater precision, connectivity, and speed.

The announcement follows Smart Shooter’s successful participation in a live-fire kinetic and non-kinetic counter-UAS evaluation at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. During the October 2024 event, Smart Shooter demonstrated the SMASH 2000L fire control system mounted on a standard M4 rifle, successfully eliminating multiple drone threats across two days of live testing.
Michal Mor, CEO of the Israeli company said that the integration of SMASH 2000L with the Marine Corps’ MAGTAB system empowers warfighters to instantly share and act on critical battlefield information.
“Combined with our recent live-fire successes, Smart Shooter continues to deliver the technology edge needed to dominate the modern battlefield,” she added.
