ITP Aero’s Groundbreaking Event of New Facility in Hyderabad Marks Expansion of its Operations 

The new site will be operational in 2027 and will create more than 350 jobs

Hyderabad. ITP Aero held a groundbreaking ceremony on May 05, 2026 to mark the expansion of its operations in Hyderabad, India. This new site will increase the company’s footprint in India and reinforce its long‑term commitment to the region. 

ITP Aero has been present in Hyderabad for 15 years, during which time it has built strong local capabilities, a highly skilled workforce, and close relationships across the regional ecosystem.

The new Hyderabad site, which will be fully operational in 2027, will manufacture commercial aviation engine components, including fabrications and machining parts, supporting increasing global demand across the civil aerospace market and further strengthening ITP Aero’s role in global commercial aviation. The new facility marks the next phase of the company’s growth in India, positioning its Indian operations for the years to come.

With the new site, the company will create more than 350 new skilled jobs over the next five years, which add to the 250 existing manufacturing jobs, contributing directly to economic development in the region and strengthening local aerospace capabilities.

As part of its growth in India, the company recently appointed Sandeep Sharma as Managing Director India. Sandeep brings over 20 years of experience in the aerospace sector, having held leadership roles in Pratt & Whitney across supply chain, business development, finance, and customer service.

This expansion comes at a time of strong global momentum for ITP Aero. In 2025, the company reported revenues of €1.88 billion (+17%), with EBITDA of €379 million (+28%), reflecting another year of robust growth. Looking ahead, ITP Aero has committed €1.2 billion in R&D and capital expenditure by 2030 across its global sites.
