EDGE Renews Partnership with the UAE Cybersecurity Council for the ‘Cyber Pulse’ Initiative

The UAE Cybersecurity Council and JAHEZIYA, an EDGE Group entity, will continue to strengthen UAE cyber security awareness and response initiatives

 

 Abu Dhabi, UAE. EDGE Group entity, JAHEZIYA, a single-stop service provider for defence solutions and emergency response services, and the UAE Cybersecurity Council (CSC) today announced the renewal of their partnership to develop and implement best practices for cyber security awareness, as well as increase knowledge regarding the importance of online safety.

In conjunction with JAHEZIYA, the CSC intends to raise baseline online safety awareness through nationwide initiatives and campaigns, increase risk awareness related to using technology, and demonstrate how to use technology in a secure, productive way.

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the CSC – UAE Government, said: “Partnering with EDGE and JAHEZIYA will provide consistent, quality risk prevention and cybersecurity best practice initiatives to communities across the UAE. In line with our goals, we are continuing to unite efforts and capabilities that result in the development and dissemination of the latest cyber awareness programmes, enabling confidence while fortifying response readiness.”

Established in 2020 by the UAE Cabinet, the CSC aims to develop a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy while establishing a robust infrastructure that protects UAE cyberspace.
