Defence Investiture Ceremony: President Confers Bravery Awards on Service Personnel

New Delhi: President Ramnath Kovid who is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces  November 23 conferred one Maha Vir Chakra (posthumous), one Kirti Chakra (posthumous), five Vir Chakras, six Shaurya Chakras, 14 Param Vishisht Seva Medals, two Uttam Yudh Seva Medals and 23 Ati Vishisht Seva Medals at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The Gallantry awards were given to the personnel for displaying conspicuous gallantry, indomitable courage and extreme devotion to duty.

Kirti Chakra: Subedar Sanjiv Kumar (posthumous).
