DPSU Shipbuilder GRSE Hands Over Dividend Cheque to Government

 

Kolkata, Two dividend cheques of total amount of Rs 59.31 crore for the Financial Year 2018-19 was handed over to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh by Rear Admiral VK Saxena, IN (Retd), Chairman & Managing Director of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE) in New Delhi on February 10.

The dividend cheque was handed over in presence of Barun Mitra, Special Secretary (Defence Production), Dr Amit Sahai, Joint Secretary (Naval Systems), and SS Dogra Director (Finance).

GRSE, a Mini Ratna Defence PSU Shipyard, has been consistent in paying dividend to the shareholders every year and has done so for the last 26 years.

GRSE has the distinction of being the only Defence Shipyard to have delivered more than 100 warships (103 warships as on date) since inception in 1960. GRSE has a strong order book position which stands at Rs 27,047 crore as on December 31.
