Bengaluru: BEL and GoSuraksha Infotech Private Limited signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaborating towards co-development of sovereign Secure Digital Identity solution.
GoSuraksha is in the field of providing Tamper-Proof Trusted IDs using a patented solution that creates an encrypted QR code with the user’s face vector, offered under the brand name “DigiSuraksha”.
BEL, with its extensive design and manufacturing facilities across mechanical, electronics and software domains, and GoSuraksha, with the patented identity platform and strong capabilities in the area of DigiSuraksha identity issuance and verification, are inclined to co-operate for porting the DigiSuraksha Application onto BEL-manufactured computing devices and thereafter jointly explore and market the integrated sovereign identity solution to Government and Public Sector customers.
The MoU aims to leverage their complementary strengths in business facilitation and technological innovation by combining BEL’s manufacturing capabilities and marketing outreach, DigiSuraksha’s expertise in strategic government relations, project governance and operational management.
The MoU was exchanged between Anoop Kumar Rai, Director (Marketing), BEL and Nikhil Kothary, Director, GoSuraksha Infotech Private Limited in the presence of Lt Cdr (Retd.) Pawan Desai, CEO, Mitkat Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd., (MIGS), Anil Kumar Singh, General Manager-Strategic Planning, Corporate Office, BEL, Ruchi Pant, General Manager – Technology Planning, Corporate Office, BEL and Hemavathy Muthuswamy, General Manager – NWCS SBU, BEL Bangalore Unit.
