Strengthening India Africa Defence Relations: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on a three day visit to Mozambique

New Delhi. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh begins a three-day visit to Mozambique from July 28 as part of government’s efforts to strengthen defence relations with African nations.

During his visit, he will have talks with the President, Defence Minister, Foreign Minister and Interior Minister of Mozambique.

During the visit, he will sign three MOUs and Agreements in the fields of exclusive economic zone surveillance, sharing of white shipping information and hydrography.

There will also be handing over ceremony from India to Mozambique of two fast boats and 44 SUVs.

He will be accompanied by Defence Secretary Sanjay Mitra and other senior officials of the Ministry of Defence and External Affairs.
