Simaero Announces the Forthcoming Opening of an Aviation Training Centre in Delhi

Simaero is pleased to announce its latest milestone in the expansion of Simaero India with the upcoming opening of a state-of-the-art Training Centre in Delhi. This announcement marks a significant step towards fulfilling the growing demand for airline pilot training in the region

 

New Delhi. A fully-equipped new Aviation Training Centre, ideally located in Delhi’s international hub: Strategically located within a 10-minute drive from the main terminals of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), the new Simaero Training Centre will be an ideal setting to offer accessible, high-quality, and market-specific training solutions for local airlines. Its proximity to high-class hotels and recreational facilities will ensure unparalleled comfort for trainees from across India and beyond.

The future Training Centre is set to feature eight simulator bays, housing a diverse range of market-specific devices such as the A320, B737 Max, and ATR 72-600 Full-Flight Simulators.

Committed to delivering a comfortable and optimized training environment, the Training Centre will feature a modern ground school classroom equipped with state-of-the-art IT tools for Computer-Based Training (CBT). Trainees will also have the opportunity to relax and network in a welcoming lounge area.

A newly recruited highly-skilled team to conduct this ambitious project

To lead this strategic project, Khushbeg Jattana, General Manager of Simaero India, has assembled a team of highly experienced professionals. Joining him are Deeksha Sharma, Quality Manager, and Ajit Ayri, Simulator Technical Manager, who have brought their expertise to the company in recent months. Additionally, Captain Manjit Singh Bodhi has been appointed as Head of Training for Simaero India. Captain Bodhi has a distinguished 35-year career in aviation, as part of Air India and Indigo management team. He will ensure that the future Approved Training Organization adheres to the highest global training standards. Furthermore, Pratyush Senger has joined as Sales Account Manager, dedicated to supporting local customers in fulfilling their training requirements in Simaero Delhi Training Centre or other Simaero Training Centres.

The Simaero team has already initiated discussions with Indian airlines, to anticipate their training needs and adapt the Training Centre features accordingly. As the Training Centre undergoes construction, the Simaero India Team already actively provides training solutions to local customers through the Simaero group’s global network.

The Simaero Delhi Training Centre is planned to be fully operational by the Q4 of 2024.
