NEW DELHI. Dr SUM Reddy has been appointed the new Director of DRDO laboratory Microwave Tube Research & Development Centre (MTRDC), Bengaluru, with effect from November 30, 2018.
Dr. Reddy, Scientist G, holds an M. Tech. in electronics from Osmania University and Ph. D. specializing in microwave tubes from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University.
At MTRDC, he has contributed to projects and technologies for developing microwave tubes, modules, transmitters and systems that are used in radars and electronic warfare equipment.
