Michael Goulian Aviation Places First US Retail Order for INTEGRAL R, AURA AERO’s Two-Seater Trainer with Aerobatic Capabilities

Date:

Oshkosh, Wisconsin: At the 2025 EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, AURA AERO announced its first US retail order for INTEGRAL R. Michael Goulian, a renowned American aerobatic champion and airshow performer, placed an order for one aircraft, to be used at his flight school in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This marks a significant milestone for AURA AERO as it expands into the US market.

At Mike Goulian Aviation, the INTEGRAL R will serve both as a platform for advanced training and as the platform for their aerobatic courses. Michael Goulian is a professional air show pilot, former Red Bull Air Race World Series pilot, and a designated FAA Pilot Examiner. His professional air show team, Goulian Aerosports, performs at shows throughout North America. Michael is also a businessman and an aviation author and spends time advocating for general aviation with leaders in the industry, to improve safety and promote aviation to all ages, inspiring future generations to embrace flying. Since 2024, he is the official ambassador for INTEGRAL R in the US.

Jérémy Caussade, CEO and Co-founder of AURA AERO, said, “Mike has been our INTEGRAL R  ambassador in the US for almost one year now, and we are delighted to count him as our first customer in this country. His tremendous experience and his network are extremely precious to us, and we look forward to many more years of collaboration together.”

Michael Goulian added, “I am extremely proud to be the first US customer for INTEGRAL R. We’re very excited to take delivery of our plane and put it to work in our flight school. Exposing our customers to the joy of aerobatics while improving their piloting skills is something we are passionate about. The new design with side-by-side seating is ideal for the mission. The plane not only looks beautiful but it also flies as good as it looks.”

The US is the largest training market in the world, with nearly 600 FAA approved flight schools, over 75,000 pilots, and a growing demand for modern, cost-effective training aircraft with aerobatic capabilities, and is therefore a major market for INTEGRAL.

Recently certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and with FAA certification underway, INTEGRAL R is already flying with several aeroclubs in Europe, and offers an advanced, efficient solution for both traditional and electric flight training, making it a strong contender in the US market.

Adapted for Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT), INTEGRAL is the most modern training aircraft, suited for both civil and military use. Equipped with advanced Garmin avionics and a unique digital platform (EPONA) registering and analyzing flight data, it delivers detailed pilot and aircraft performance debriefings – essential for training. INTEGRAL is also the safest aircraft in its class, being the only one certified with a whole aircraft rescue parachute system.

AURA AERO is currently expanding its footprint in the US, with the opening this year of a 10,000 sq.ft hangar in Daytona Beach, Florida, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Research Park, dedicated to the assembly, delivery and customer support of INTEGRAL aircraft for the US market. Activities will start with INTEGRAL R, and the hangar will also host two prototypes of INTEGRAL E, the all-electric version, soon flying in the skies of Daytona Beach to conduct the flight test campaign prior to its entry into service, expected early 2027.

Furthermore, AURA AERO has also selected Daytona Beach for its U.S. headquarters and the construction of a 500,000 sq.ft factory dedicated to ERA, its 19-seater regional hybrid-electric aircraft, due to enter in service by 2030. Representing the creation of over 1,000 jobs, this project has received the key support of Space Florida, with up to $200 M in funding.
